Ron’s varied resume reflects his wide range of musical abilities. Ron has graced the stage with accomplished artists such as Mitch Ryder, Mick Jones, Mark Lindsay, Badfinger, Dee Dee Ramone, Gary US Bonds, Gloria Gaynor, the Shirelles, Roberta Flack, Reeves Gabrels, the Vanilla Fudge, Sam Moore, Dion DiMucci, Tavares, Tommy Roe, Maxine Nightingale, Billy J. Kramer, Leslie Gore and jazz artists Dave Valentin, Bill Charlap, Lew Soloff, Lee Muziker, Darmon Meader, Rhonda Ross and the Guy Lombardo Band to name but a few. Ron is currently working as Musical Director for Lou Christie. Some of his other credits include performances with the Hudson Valley Philharmonic, the Greenwich Symphony Orchestra, the K-Rock WXRK Christmas Show and several Off-Broadway productions.
Along with nightclub appearances, Ron has performed in such prestigious venues as the Meadowlands Arena, the Apollo Theater, the Ed Sullivan Theater, Boston Symphony Hall, the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame, Walt Disney World, New Jersey Performing Arts Center and countless other venues across the globe. If he looks familiar, you may have seen Ron performing on nationally broadcast television shows such as the CBS Early Show and PBS Concerts.
When not performing live, Ron keeps busy with recording sessions, teaching and composing. He is known for his musical creativity, hard work ethic and professionalism. Ron has appeared on many recordings and is a first call session player, built on his reputation as ‘one take capable’.
Ron holds a Master of Music degree from William Paterson University and a Bachelors Degree in Percussion Performance from the State University of New York at Purchase.
